In a statement  issued  on Monday by Jerry Needam, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity To the Rivers State PDP Chairman,  Bro Felix Obuah  alleged that the immediate past governor,  Rotimi Amaechi through his proxies at the Pentagon Security  attempted  to stop school resumption but all stakeholders insisted that education remains paramount  hence they resumed classes.

The Rivers State PDP  Chairman  expressed happiness  that all education  stakeholders  in the state appreciate  the  efforts of Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, hence their public support and solidarity  with  him at all times.
