Ezemu Forses End to Obodoeti Police Murder Crisis in Delta

The Traditional Ruler of Emu Kingdom in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, Obuenwe Johnson Epechi Ulu, has condemned the recent killing of a police sergeant attached to the Kwale Police Division one Peter Wamba and the Public Relations Officer, Emu Obodoeti Community Development Committee Edwin Usama Enuademu allegedly by indigenes of the town.
The Traditional Ruler who spoke to our reporter at the weekend in his palace, disclosed that he had seen the final end to the crisis rocking the community since 2014, nothing could have been reasonable enough to warrant killing of person or fellow human being and condoled the, State Police Command, Kwale Police Division and the family of late Usama Enwuademu. Meanwhile, the Emu traditional ruler has commended the security agencies for their prompt intervention into the Obodoeti crisis, and pleaded that more security personnel be deployed to the community to forestall law and order. He called on indigenes of Emy Obodoeti community who fled the town on the wake of the incident to return home, and go about their normal business as peace was gradually returning.
Investigation revealed that lingering leadership crisis in the community allegedly claimed the lives of no fewer than nine persons, while forty nine others were arrested, and are being detained for alleged arson, and others at the state CID Police Headquarters in Asaba.
