The Lagos State University (LASU) has promised to resolve the hitches prospective candidates for 2016/2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) were undergoing in the institution’s admission screening and online registration.

‎LASU, in its Bulletin on Friday in Lagos appealed to the prospective candidates to exercise patience as the problem would be rectified soon.

According to the bulletin, ‎no candidate who has chosen the university will be denied the right to participate in the admission screening.

‎“The university’s management appeals to the prospective candidates to exercise patience with respect to the frustration of not being able to complete their online registration.

“The hitch will be sorted out soon,’’ it said.

The bulletin also noted that those who had paid the required fee would not be required to pay again once the problem is fixed.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the university is charging N5,000 as fee for the 2016/2017 admission screening online registration.
