Odigie-Oyegun Tasks Muslims at Maulu al-Nabi

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, on Wednesday urged Muslims to reflect on the virtues and ideals which the Holy Prophet Muhammad exemplified and taught.
Odigie-Oyegun‎ said this in Abuja in a statement signed by Mr Edegbe Odemwingie, the party’s Assistant Director (Publicity).
The statement enjoined all Muslim faithful to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and imbibe his teachings anchored on love, peaceful co-existence and harmony.
It said the internalisation of the teachings, virtues and ideals of the Prophet would benefit the country as it confronted current security and development challenges.
The chairman, in the statement, hailed the efforts of religious and traditional rulers to foster national unity and promote the peaceful co-existence of Nigerians.
It urged all Muslims to use the occasion to pray for the President Muhhamadu Buhari-led administration as it worked to deliver on the change agenda.
