Youths in Taraba State have faulted the October, 2014 ultimatum  given President Goodluck Jonathan by the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) to produce the abducted Chibok girls or forget about his Second Term bid.

The youths, made this known during briefing of Journalists on the appointment of  Mr. Danladi Kifasi, as the Head of  Service of the Federation , in Jalingo.

They reiterated their readiness to mobilize youths from the nooks and crannies of the country in support of the Second term bid of the Presidential.

Speaking through their state coordinator, Prince Aboki Bayonga Stephen, Flanked by the Executive members, the youths  said the ongoing activities of the insurgents in some parts of the country, would not be allowed to “truncate democracy in Nigeria”.

They called on the northern elders to desist from threatening the President and throw and “their weight in support of  the President to actualize his 2015 ambition.”

The youths also observed that the issue of insurgents is not only in Nigeria, but the world at large.
They called on  Jonathan not to be deterred from re-contesting for the number one position of the country next year. “We have collectively endorsed President Godluck Ebele Jonathan to re-contest year 2015 presidential election”.

They noted that the appointment of the new Head of Federal Service, was based on merit and dedication to duty, and  the need for the civil servants to give him the much needed helping hands to succeed in transforming the civil service, they believed, cannot be overemphasized.
