A Business Consultant, Mrs Lolade Ukpo, on Monday, said that the World Economic Summit, scheduled for Nigeria, would unlock numerous business opportunities.
Ukpo who is the Chief Executive Officer, Turac Ventures, made the n remark in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
NAN recalls that Nigeria has been scheduled to host the world economic forum later in the year, following the nation’s huge economic reforms.
According to her, the Federal Government should create an avenue for sustainable business interface between local and foreign investors.
“There should be a business summit that could be held twice annually for businessmen interested in a particular line.
“Both parties should sign agreement where each party will take a specific role in the business transaction,” she said.
Ukpo also urged the organised private sector to partner effectively with government toward using the summit to erase foreign investors’ misconception about Nigeria and the nation’s business climate.
She added that contrary to other opinions, the summit would also serve as a tourist business window for Nigeria to earn additional foreign exchange.
