Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party’s former vice-presidential candidate, has hailed former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi as a “good guy.”
Baba-Ahmed made the comment on Friday while answering questions on Channels TV’s Politics Today show on the alliance formed by the African Democratic Congress, (ADC).
According to the Kaduna-born politician, who had earlier dismissed the coalition by the opposition on the ADC platform, he would consider working with Amaechi, aside from Mr Peter Obi, for the 2027 general election.
“Rotimi Amaechi is a good guy. He is one of those I can adopt,” Datti Baba-Ahmed said.
The ADC coalition is being championed by former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi, Nasir El-Rufai, and Mr Peter Obi, among others.
