President Bola Tinubu has again reviewed the provisional wage increase for the federal government workers from the N25,000 announced earlier today to N35,000.
This was revealed by the Presidency shortly after its meeting with the organised labour leaders.
In a one-paragraph release, the Presidency said: “Going from the meeting with Labour today, the President Bola Tinubu has agreed to increase the provisional wage award for all treasury-paid Federal Government workers to N35,000 for 6 months.”
In the earlier approval, had okayed N25,000 pay raise for federal government workers across board.
According to NTA, this was revealed by the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Gbajabiamila stated that the 25,000 naira intervention previously promised by President Bola Tinubu for low-level federal workers would now apply to all levels of personnel.
