Three Improvised Explosive Devices have exploded along the Gamboru /Ngala road yesterday wounding some commuters in the process.
Although the explosives did not kill anyone as at the time of impact, they were allegedly planted on the road by insurgents whose trade mark it is to strike during the yuletide period.
Security sources alleged that those wounded from the IED explosion along Gambouru/Ngala road have since been taken to the specialist hospital in Maiduguri where they are receiving treatments.
The maiduguri Mafa, Dikwa, Ngala road is an international road with over 20 security check points which leads to central Africa and has since been open to traffic by commuters
