The Independent National Electoral Commission has uploaded over 73.67 percent of the results from the Edo governorship election onto its Result Viewing Portal.

According to DAILY POST, 3329 results out of 4,519 polling units where elections held in the state have been uploaded.

It was also reported that Anugbum Onuoha, the resident electoral commissioner (REC) in Edo, had assured that the governorship election results will be transmitted electronically.

Onuoha spoke in an interview with Arise Television on Saturday, stressing that only poor network could hinder the transmission of results to the viewing portal (IReV).

“After that, then the voters will now start voting. At the end of the day, they will count the results, and it will be uploaded to our IReV.,” he assured.
