Developing Story: Nigerian Govt Meets with NLC, TUC over State of the Economy 

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) is currently in a meeting with President Bola Tinubu led administration.

The meeting at the Presidential Villa is centred on the state of the nation, especially the petrol pricing, as reported by Vanguard

The meeting is said to be taking place in George Akume’s Office.

Akume holds the title of Secretary to the Office of the Government of the Federation, SGF.

Present at the meeting are Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser, NSA; Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Labour Minister; Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.aaaaa

Others are Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Information Minister; Heineken Lokpobiri, Petroleum Minister, State; Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), and representatives of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Limited.
