Rabiu Kwankwaso, former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), met with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The meeting also had former Cross River State governor Donald Duke in attendance.
Disclosing this via his X handle, the former Kano State governor said the meeting held at Obasanjo’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Kwankwaso disclosed that they were on a courtesy call to the former president while engaging in meaningful discussions on the Nigerian nation.
He explained that their deliberations focused primarily on national issues and the future of politics in the country.
Kwankwaso said: “I was pleased to be in company of my friend, HE Donald Duke and other associates to pay a courtesy call on President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta.
“Deliberations on significant national issues, including the future of politics and governance in Nigeria defined.”
