FIFA unveiled the Best Men’s XI of 2024 at its annual awards presentation in Doha on Tuesday.
Erling Haaland of Manchester City leads the attack, followed by Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.
Vinicius Jr. was also awarded the Best Player of the Year at the event.
Rodri, who defeated the Brazilian for the Ballon d’Or earlier this year, was paired in midfield with England international Jude Bellingham and the now-retired Toni Kroos.
The defence consists of Arsenal’s William Saliba, City’s Ruben Dias, and Real Madrid’s Antonio Rudiger and Dani Carvajal.
Emiliano Martinez, the Aston Villa goalkeeper, was chosen as the keeper.
