Free My Son, He’s Not in His Right Senses – 2Baba’s mother to Natasha

By Seyi Babalola

Rose Idibia, the mother of Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, well known by his stage name 2Baba, has urged Nigerians to implore Natasha Osawuru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, to leave her son alone.

In a video that went viral on Thursday night, the mother, who claimed that her son may not be acting in his right senses, urged the lawmaker to remove the “beads you put on his hand and on his neck”.

METROWATCH reports that the internet was recently awash with reports of 2Baba’s marriage proposal to the lawmaker, days after announcing his divorce from Annie Idibia.

Wading into the controversy, Mrs Idibia said her son is presently not in the right frame of mind due to the divorce proceedings with his estranged wife.

“Good evening, Nigerians. My name is Mrs Rose Idibia, the mother of 2baba. This message is for Miss Natasha Osawaru of Edo State. I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to free my son.

“My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son well. That is not him.

“Please Natasha, the beads you put on his hand and on his neck, remove them and free him,” she said.
