GiftedHands Science Tutorials has built an enviable reputation for academic excellence, particularly in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Year after year, students from GiftedHands record scores well above 300, with some reaching as high as 350, even amidst widespread technical issues and mass failures reported nationwide.
In the University of Benin Post-UTME, GiftedHands has also demonstrated excellence. In the 2023/2024 screening exercise, a then prospective Medicine and Surgery student, Daniel Ogboro, scored a perfect 100/100, emerging as the highest-scoring candidate — a feat attributed to the deliberate and rigorous academic preparation provided by GiftedHands.
The unveiling of the Gifted Hands Special Science College marks a monumental shift in how science education is approached in Edo State and beyond. It bridges the gap between local and global academic standards, equipping students with competitive academic and technical skills relevant in today’s fast-evolving world. With an emphasis on excellence, innovation, and global competitiveness, the college is expected to raise a new generation of scientists, engineers, tech experts, and problem-solvers who will shape the future.
Benin City now proudly hosts an institution that not only nurtures academic brilliance but also fosters technological literacy and critical thinking — essential traits for thriving in a digital and knowledge-based economy.
GiftedHands is not just teaching science; it’s engineering the future.
