AFCON: Onuachu Names Team to Win Trophy in Morocco

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will play Tunisia on Saturday in their second match of the group stage in the 2025 AFCON ongoing in Morocco.

Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu has predicted the outcome of the game.

Nigeria will be in control of Group C and will move on to the next round if they win against Tunisia.

Nigeria and Tunisia each won their first matches in the tournament, defeating Tanzania and Uganda with scores of 2-1 and 3-1, respectively.

Before playing against the tough Tunisian team, the tallest player from Nigeria, Onuachu, predicted a win for his team.

Onuachu, who plays for the Turkish team, Trabzonspor, said the Super Eagles are in Morocco to win the competition

“I think we have strong players and a good team that can really push forward to the next level,” Onuachu told reporters before the game against the North African team.

“Even before arriving here, we always think about winning the AFCON.”

Eric Chelle of Nigeria is planning to use his strongest players in the match against Tunisia.
