Malami’s Case Not Personal, I Inherited His Investigation File, Says EFCC chair

Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ola Olukoyede, has said that the case if the former Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF, Abubakar Malami, is not personal.

Olukoyede made this clarification when he appeared as a guest in an interview on ‘Sunday Politics’, a programme on Channels Television.

He said that Malami’s investigation predated him in the office, adding that he inherited the AGF’s investigation file.

“I’m yet to understand and see the facts he would bring out to back that claim of he actually said that.

“All I did was ensure the investigation was carried out in a very professional and thorough manner.

“Malami has been under investigation for almost two and a half years after the exit of Buhari’s government,” he said.
