At least four Super Eagles players have left camp, following their win over Egypt in the third-place playoff at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The quartet of Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, Paul Onuachu, and Chidozie Awaziem have all returned to their clubs in Europe.

Osimhen, Ndidi, and Onuachu all play in Turkey, while Awaziem plies his trade in France.

They all left Casablanca aboard a private jet.

This means they will not be present at the award ceremony tomorrow after the final, as the medals were not handed out on Saturday.

Nigeria beat Egypt 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out after the match ended goalless in 90 minutes.

It is the ninth time the three-time champions have won bronze at the AFCON.
