Nigerian hip-hop artist, Zlatan Ibile has debunked a report that he vowed never to marry his longtime partner and baby mama, Davita Lamai.
An X user with the handle @BoutMoney had claimed that the rapper vowed never to marry Lamai despite having two children with her.
The user wrote, “Zlatan’s wife (Davita lamai) in tears as zlatan ibile said he will never marry her despite having two kids for him.
“What could be the reason?”
Addressing the post, Zlatan Ibile labelled it as “fake.” He added that anyone who still allows themselves to be misled by fake news in this age doesn’t deserve access to the internet.
He vowed to ensure that the fake news influencer faced justice for their crime soon.
He wrote, “Y’all know I hate to shalaye. But if you’re still one of those who can’t differentiate or confirm before you engage an agenda post in 2026, you don’t deserve to have internet on your phone.
“This is fake! Banger boy, your time is coming soon.”
This is coming after Zlatan Ibile recently clarified that Lamai “is the mother of my kids, but she’s not my wife yet.”
The rapper made the clarification in response to a fan on Snapchat who asked after Lamai, referring to her as his “wife.”
