Tinubu Marks 74th Birthday with Message of Unity, Resilience

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their support and goodwill as he marked his 74th birthday, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to national development.

In a statement issued on Sunday from the State House, the President thanked citizens for their prayers, messages, and public displays of support, including those who placed congratulatory messages in the media.

He also acknowledged the goodwill messages from First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Tinubu noted that he chose to celebrate the occasion in a low-key manner, in line with the prevailing mood of the nation.

Reflecting on his administration’s reforms, the President admitted that the country had faced challenges but expressed optimism about ongoing progress.

According to him, recent developments indicate “a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel,” despite temporary setbacks linked to the Middle East crisis.

He stressed that the achievements recorded so far were a collective effort involving the government and Nigerians, rather than the work of a single individual or team.

As his administration approaches its third anniversary, Tinubu said he remains confident that his government will deliver a brighter future for citizens.

The President also reiterated his resolve to tackle the nation’s challenges, urging Nigerians to continue supporting government efforts to build a stronger, more prosperous, and resilient country.
