Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed confidence that Saturday’s governorship election will be peaceful, while declaring that he will emerge victorious.
Adeleke made the declaration ahead of the poll, urging residents to come out and exercise their civic rights without fear.
The governor called on voters to maintain peace and avoid any act capable of disrupting the electoral process.
He also expressed confidence in his chances of securing another term in office, saying he expects the electorate to support his administration at the polls.
Adeleke urged security agencies, electoral officials, political parties and voters to work together to ensure a peaceful and credible election.
