The national leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Seriake Dickson, has said that they are going into the 2027 polls as the NDC.

Dickson made this statement on Wednesday during an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’ while reacting to the G-100 opposition coalition.

He called on the opposition to present one presidential candidate in the upcoming presidential election.

The former Bayelsa State Governor said that while the NDC remains open to collaboration with other political parties, it has the strongest, most balanced and appealing ticket for the Nigerian people.

“We are going to the election as NDC. If other parties and candidates support us, as we think they should, well and good, but we are working to win the election.

“Our friends who are organizing the G-100 came to see me. They are great Nigerians doing a great job, and their thinking is not misplaced. The NDC is aware of the moves and the efforts they are making.

“The NDC, in principle, endorses what they are doing, and we have made it clear that, well, the general commitments are good and our position is very clear. We have the most exciting ticket. We have the most vibrant ticket. We have an appealing ticket. We have a balanced ticket. We have a ticket that resonates with the Nigerian people at home and abroad.

“Therefore, we remain committed to working with everybody. Two days ago, our presidential candidate was at a campaign rally of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, and when he finished, he came to me, and we discussed very briefly,” Dickson said.
