Abuja DisCo Gives Insight into Feb 4 Power Failure in Nigeria | METROWATCH

 The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) says  the nationwide power outage is as a result of system failure from the national grid.
The management of AEDC in a statement in Abuja on Sunday said that the failure occurred at about 11.21am.
 ”The management of AEDC wishes to inform its valued customers that the power outage being experienced is as a result of a system failure from the national grid at 11.21am  today.
‘This has led to a nationwide power outage.
”Be rest assured that we are working with the relevant stakeholders to restore power as soon as the grid is stabilised.
“We appeal for your patience, ”it said.
