Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has now submitted a transfer request to Atalanta.
Lookman is furious with the Serie A club for rejecting several offers from Inter Milan.
He has now decided to force the issue by asking to leave the club.
This was confirmed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, via X, on Sunday.
Romano wrote: “EXCL: Ademola Lookman has now handed in a transfer request.
“The Nigerian forward has officially asked Atalanta to leave the club after the Italian side rejected Inter’s opening bid.
“Lookman wants to join Inter.”
