The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has organised a preparation course for referees selected for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Referees, assistant referees, video assistant referees (VAR), and technical and physical instructors were part of the exercise, which took place in Cairo, Egypt.

CAF stated that the objective of the preparation course is to ensure the best possible preparation of officials before the start of the competition.

Africa’s soccer governing body announced the selection of 73 officials for the tournament last week.
