Africa Link Organisation, publishers of Africa Link magazine has congratulated Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, for the recent OECD DAC Finalists’ Prize Award.
The group in a message signed by Johnson A. Oduwaiye, President and Editor-in-Chief of the publication, said they are proud to be associated with the Governor.
“In accordance with the Yoruba saying, “Ti omo eni ba mojo ori ayani”, I am highly elated to receive the news that our dear Kwara State through your performance has been awarded the OECD DAC finalists’ prize for the State’s Community Health Insurance Scheme. This is a brilliant performance with which I, along with many other Kwarans abroad, and at home are proud to be associated.
“We also take note of the earlier commendation of the Kwara State scheme by the United Nations and the Bill Gates Foundation for its creative approach to pro-poor health care. But the highest commendation comes from the people of Kwara themselves whose endorsement of your programs and those of your predecessor, Dr. Bukola Saraki, have not been in doubt from our monitoring of developments in the social sector at home” part of the message read.

The group encouraged the Governor to keep up the good work and pray for his protection. “We would like to join our voices with those that are encouraging you to keep up the good work. We urge you not be complacent but to continue with renewed commitment in this great and good work. May the Almighty God continue to protect you and direct your steps”
