Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says the party is fully prepared to challenge the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and win the 2027 governorship election in Plateau State.

He made the statement in Jos during a reception for new defectors from the PDP, Labour Party, PRP, and NNPP.

Nentawe said the growing number of defectors shows increasing confidence in the APC.

“These defections prove that more people now believe in our direction and leadership,” he said.

He explained that the APC has been reorganising its structures, expanding its membership, and strengthening cooperation across all levels in Plateau.

According to him, the party is not only targeting legislative seats but is also determined to take over the governorship.

He added that the APC will continue to welcome new members who are ready to contribute to its success.

Prof. Nentawe urged party members to remain focused, united, and active in grassroots mobilisation ahead of 2027.
