Hon. Tajudeen Bright Alade, Executive Chairman, Akoko-Edo Local Government Council of Edo State and his Vice have been impeached by the council’s Legislative Arm.
Following the development, leader of the House(Legislative Arm), Hon. Alabliss Oshionogue, has been sworn-in as the Acting Chairman of the Akoko-Edo council.
All former appointees of the impeached council chairman and his vice have also been dissolved with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, a committee on asset recovery has been set-up to recover all government vehicles in the possession of the erstwhile leaders.
