United States forces have “destroyed and sunk” nine Iranian naval vessels, President Donald Trump said on social media – promising to “go after the rest.”
Trump also claimed on his Truth Social platform that the Islamic Republic’s naval headquarters have been “largely destroyed.”
“I have just been informed that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian Naval Ships, some of them relatively large and important,” the US President wrote.
The post comes after the US military earlier announced that three service members have been killed in action – with a further five seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury.
