Late former President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf Buhari, has picked the All Progressives Congress, APC, ticket for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency.
Buhari polled 5,849 votes to defeat Auwal Lawal Daura, who got 21 votes.
As a result of the development, Yusuf Buhari has emerged as the APC candidate for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency seat for the 2027 general elections.
The APC House of Representatives primary elections are taking place across the country on Saturday.
