Afrobeats star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has taken issue with a deceptive headline linking him to kidnappers.
A blog on X posted a video of three alleged kidnappers caught in Lagos, with the caption, “Davido and two others apprehended for kidnapping in Lagos.”
However, the headline misled many fans, who assumed it was talking to the singer.
This did not sit well with the artist, who promised to take harsh action against such deceptive headlines someday.
He predicted that peddlers of false headlines will soon face the consequences of their actions.
Reacting to the news, Davido wrote, “One day go be one day… Continue. My karma no dey always tey.”
