Delta state beneficiaries of the N-Power social investment programme of the Muhammadu Buhari administration has pledged their solidarity for the return of the president in the February 16 presidential poll.
Addressing a crucial meeting of N-Power Delta State Solidarity Group at Effurun on Tuesday, the group’s coordinator, Comrade Solomon Ogoron, averred: “If Buhari wins, na we win”!
He said that in spite of threats and risk of beneficiaries being yanked off the programme for identifying with the Initiator, Buhari and APC in opposition states like it have been experienced in Delta, they owe President Buhari a moral obligation to work for his return as President come February 16.
“That is why the over 15,000 N-Power beneficiaries across the 25 LGAs of Delta State have vowed that PMB’s reelection is a task that must be accomplished”, the N-Power coordinator declared.
At the group’s meeting of Coordinators and executives across the 25 LGAs, which was attended by the Delta State Chapter of the Buhari Support Organisations (BSO) and APC stalwarts, they resolved that “No stone would be left unturned”, in the quest to reelect Buhari.
Addressing the group, BSO State Secretary, Victor Bezi, assured the beneficiaries of the President and APC government’s intention to continue the social investment programmes, which have brought tremendous succour to millions of Nigerians.
BSO State Publicity Secretary, Comrade (Apostle) VEO SorokwuChukwu, State Youth Leader, Frank Odum, State Assistant. Secretary, Eric Ikomi and Delta North Woman Leader, Ms Frances Olloh were also special guests at the strategic meeting.
