The duo of Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie have gone spiritual on the issue of the nullification of the PDP Delegates Congress that preceded their party’s primaries.
Ighodalo was handed the party’s ticket from the process that was invalidated by a Federal High Court last week while Ogie was picked as his running mate.
They have been consulting some traditional Chiefs with divination powers, on how to get out of the legal logjam.
In a related development, the PDP have settled for Mahmud Magaji (SAN) as the head of a team of lawyers who will pursue the appeal to upturn the nullification of the PDP Congress by the Federal High Court.
Magaji, a member of the Federal Judicial Service Commission, is Atiku’s private lawyer who was part of his legal team at the presidential election tribunal.
Re all that the Governor of Adamawa State had in an interview with journalists this weekend in Abuja said the party would appeal against the decision of the Federal High Court, which he said ‘has created a set-back for the party in the September 21 governorship election in Edo State.”
