Five more influential Edo PDP leaders – Mr. Aikoriegie Oregbe Uyinmwen, Bishop Charles Lawani, Pastor Aisosa Lucky Onabor, Hon. Osamede Ekiuwa, and Mr. Kingsley Lawani – have resigned from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The party leaders communicated their decision through a joint resignation letter addressed to the PDP Ward 3 chairman in Uhunmwode Local Government of Edo State.
This move has sent ripples through the local political arena, indicating significant dissatisfaction within the party.
In their resignation letter sighted by Aso media, the group quoted the ongoing crisis within the PDP as the primary reason for their departure.
