By METROWATCHThe governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the September 21 governorship election in Edo state, Senator Monday Okpebholo, says he would revive all schools in Igbanke if voted to office.

The candidate, aka Akpakomiza, also pledged to provide other infrastructures in the community, including street lighting, pipeborne water, township roads, among others.

He made these promises when he visited the community on July 14 as part of his campaign.

He assured that “Igbanke must reap of Edo State under his watch as governor and prayed for God’s continuous  blessings for the community.

He also said: “I have been a good friend and brother to the people of Igbanke. I am a man of little words, but be fully assured that what is needed in igbanke will be given urgent attention”.

His running mate, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, APC governorship campaign DG, Senator Matthew Orhokhide and APC factors were at the campaign venue.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of APC membership cards to former members of the Labour Party and the People’s Democratic Party who decamped to the APC

According to Hon. Lucky Igbinedion, 300 of such persons left their former parties for the APC.
