The Edo State Governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo has appointed the publisher of METROWATCH online newspaper, Mr. Collins Edomaruse and 39 others as members of his Inauguration Planning Committee.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued Wednesday night in Benin City.
Okpebholo, who won the keenly-contested September 21, 2024 governorship election, is set for inauguration as next Executive Governor of Edo State November 12.
Mr. Edomaruse is a member of several professional bodies including the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), and Secretary of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP).
He is also the Co-Founder, Igbanke Unity Forum (IUF) and a former Editor at THISDAY.
