Arsenal are set to part ways with four players this summer in order to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The Gunners are expected to finish second in the Premier League for the third consecutive season.
Fans and analysts have consistently stated that Mikel Arteta’s team’s failure to win the title is due to a lack of a prolific striker.
Arsenal have been linked with strikers Alexander Isak, Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko, and Viktor Gyokeres.
Others on their shortlist include Liam Delap, Ollie Watkins and Lautaro Martinez.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will offload four players in a bid to bring in a striker this summer.
Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jorginho, Thomas Partey, and Kieran Tierney are all set to leave the Emirates, as the club looks to construct a ‘transfer war chest’ for manager Mikel Arteta.
In terms of pay, the quartet will save approximately £500,000 each week, which will cover any wages that any of the strikers affiliated with them may seek.
