A former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has claimed that reports about him being rejected as an ambassador by Germany are not true.
In a post on his X account, Fani-Kayode labelled the reports as “fake news”.
He said the opposition is behind the rumors because they are upset about his appointment.
He also vowed he will keep working for the country.
He wrote: “Fake news everywhere.
“These opposition elements are so pained by my appointment and they are doing everything to discredit me and scuttle it.
“Whether they like it or not I will serve my country! Keep crying!”
