The APC Women leader in Delta State, Dr. (Mrs) Janet Oyubu, has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari’s stride of making June 12th as democracy day and signing into law the not too young to rule bill stressing that Mr. President has showed that he is passionate about the sustenance of democracy in Nigeria.
According to her, such action also symbolizes the strength of our democracy which she said is based on truth, justice and immense ideologies.
Dr. Oyubu in her press statement made available to news men in Warri, said the APC faithful and all including the women have been working very hard for the progress of the party.
Describing President Buhari as the only medicine that can cure the ills plaguing the country right now, the women leader noted that Mr. President remembered the truth, and faced it squarely, adding that when justice reigns peace will surely reign and everybody will be happy.
“I know that with time and as we go through the narrow path, Nigerians will get to know that Mr. President is God-sent and that he meant very well for the country”, stressed the APC women leader.
She lauded the post humours award of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (GCFR) given to late Chief M.K.O Abiola as well as the award of Grand Commander of the order of the Niger (GCON) given to both the Ambassador Babagana Kingibe and Gani Fawehinmi of blessed memory and those like Comrade Frank Ovie Kokori and others who gallantly fought for good of Nigeria who are alive should also be considered to give it a national look.
Her words: “I am also congratulating Mr. President because he meant well for the sustenance of our democracy and the cohesion of brother hood and sister hood of this nation. He is out for the sustenance of peace and tranquility but it is a pity that some Nigerians don’t understand Him.
In fact majority of willful blind and willful deaf don’t want to understand the tenet of truth in this democratic session.
On the effort made so far by Mr. President of fighting corruption and insecurity, the Delta State APC women leader said that Buhari has done a lot in the area, adding, “You cannot leave the man who break the bone and be confronting the bone fixer because of the pains the broken bones has inflicted, the fixer should have no blames.
She therefore urged the APC family in the state to continue to support the party in its effort to occupy the Government House Asaba and also return President Buhari to power in the second tenure.
