The National Association of University Students (NAUS), Edo State Chapter, has ushered in a new leadership following the successful conduct of its 2026 convention.
The convention, organised by the NAUS Campus Monitoring Committee (CMC), was held on Saturday, 21 March 2026, at the Youth House in Benin City.
A total of nine delegates participated in the electoral process, with three representatives each drawn from the three participating institutions: Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma; National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Benin Study Centre; and the University of Benin, Benin City.
At the end of the exercise, Comrade Joel Isaac Idahor of the University of Benin emerged as the Chairman, after his opponent withdrew from the race earlier.
