Brigadier General Jude Chukwu has been appointed to replace Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman as the new Director Army Public Relations.
Confirming the development, Brigadier General Usman said he has been nominated to attend Senior Executive Course 40 at the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos.
“I am glad to inform you that I have been nominated to attend Senior Executive Course 40 at the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos.
“As a matter of fact, I have already reported and commenced the programme. Accordingly, Brigadier General JTE Chukwu has been appointed as the new Director Army Public Relations, while Colonel MA Anka has been appointed Commandant, (NASPRI) Usman said.
Until his appointment, Gen. Chukwu, was the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Public Relations (NASPRI),
Usman further stated that the formal handing and taking over ceremony will take place at the Army Headquarters Conference Room on Monday, February 26, 2018.
He expressed gratitude to journalists covering the Nigerian Army for their support, cooperation and understanding during his tenure as Director, Army Public Relations and requested that such support be extended to the new DAPR.
“I want to thank you all for your kind support, cooperation and understanding throughout my tenure as DAPR. I would also request you to please extend same to the new DAPR to enable him to have a successful tenure”, Usman said.
