Singer Speed Darlington has requested people who are weary of supporting him to stop doing so.
The musician made this statement a few hours after parting ways with his lawyer, Stanley Alieke.
Alieke recently announced his business, Law Capitol,’s separation from the controversial artist on his Instagram account.
The split occurred a week after the musician was freed from a lengthy detention by Nigerian police for allegedly cyberstalking his colleague, Burna Boy.
In a viral video posted to his Instagram page, the musician encouraged fans who advised him to back down from his dispute with Burna to get lost if they were tired of supporting him.
“I’m on my way to the studio for more music. My life is my content. Let nobody tell me what to post. If you are tired of supporting, you get lost. And let my God guide me.
“Support, support, how many of you spend money? I spend my own money, so shut up. Let me do what I want and keep your advice to yourself. I have been there and done that; the fear is not the same.”
Shading Burna, he captioned the video, “Always singing about police brutality in Nigeria. Yet he proceeds to hire police to hold me longer. And this is only what you can say? Leave him and move on.”
