In the quest to continue the prescribed Hajj rites in Saudi Arabia after spending three days in Mina, Lagos Pilgrims returned to Makkah today for further exercise.
The pilgrims returned to Makkah after throwing the third day pebbles at Jamarat in Muna this morning to further perform Tawaf Ifadah at the Ground Mosque, Kabba which is the climax of hajj rites.
Meanwhile, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON had praised the Lagos pilgrims for their compliance to the crowd management regulations that contributed to the smooth conduct of stoning ritual at Jamarat.
Welcoming the pilgrims back to Lagos House in Makkah, State Amir Hajj, Dr Abdul Hakeem Abdul Lateef educate the pilgrims on the next activity while announcing date of airlift back to Lagos.
According to him, the airlifting of pilgrims will commence this week Saturday to arrive Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, next day.
Dr. Abdul Lateef encouraged the pilgrims to perform Tawaful Wadai which means farewell to Kaaba before leaving for Nigeria.
