Former President Goodluck Jonathan is to inaugurate Delta’s iconic Court Complex in celebration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s walk-to-victory as the state’s chief executive.

The High Court complex  symbolises the disposal of justice to all in Delta State.

The Delta state commissioner for information Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza asserts that the commissioning of the brand new High Court complex as a monument to the governor’s endurance.

Deltans are very much aware of the unprecedented 38 Court cases which Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was subjected to and endured with tremendous psychological mettle,” he said of the avalanche of disputes taken by political foes within and outside of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP after he emerged the governorship candidate of the party in 2022.

GWG.ng reports that the elegant Delta Court Complex is to be commissioned by President Goodluck Jonathan, unarguably the most humble to have occupied Nigeria’s highest office, who shares a humble trait with Governor Oborevwori.

A statement by Dr Osuoza revealed that the court complex is a five-storey edifice, adorned with 6 conference halls, 6 witness waiting rooms, 6 secretary offices, 6 Court rooms, 6 holding cells, Lawyers Lounge, Judges Lounge, VIP Lounge, Multi-purpose Hall, General Conference Hall, Ceremonial Hall, Chambers, a library, zoom room, computer laboratory.
