Former Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar on Monday met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Atiku led a group to meet with Obasanjo at the former Nigerian leader’s mansion in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
The former vice president was accompanied by Liyel Imoke, the former Governor of Cross River State, and Senator Aminu Tambuwal, the former Governor of Sokoto State.
The meeting’s agenda was unknown at press time, but it comes as opposition leaders plot methods to build a coalition against the All Progressives Congress, APC, and win the 2027 presidential election.
Atiku recently welcomed former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi at his villa in Adamawa State.
