Late Gen Lagbaja Buried in Abuja

The body of the late Chief Of Army Staff(COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja has been laid to rest.

The body of Lagbaja, which arrived the National Military Cemetery, at 3:26 in a golden casket, bearing the rank of a three star general, was taken straight to the graveside by pallbearers and committed to mother at the at exactly 4:41 pm amid tears, sorrow from military officers, family members, friends and other top dignitaries that came to bid the deceased farewell.

Among the top dignitaries includes past Chiefs of Defence Staff, Chiefs of Army Staff, Chiefs of Naval Staff, Chiefs of Air Staff, National Security Adviser(NSA), Inspectors General of Police, heads of paramilitary organizations, traditional rulers, senate president, speaker of the House of Representatives, state governors among other top dignitaries.
