Lawmaker Inaugurates N300m Projects in Kaduna

A lawmaker, Dr Abbas Tajuddeen, on Sunday inaugurated projects worth over N300 million in his constituency.

Tajuddeen (APC ) representing Zaria federal constituency, Kaduna State,made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) shortly after inaugurating a chain of projects in different wards of his constituency.

He said the money covered projects such as  computer training centre and additional blocks of classrooms at Kwarbai A and B wards, hall for training of intending pilgrims in Zaria and additional block of three classrooms for the proposed Junior Secondary School, Kakeyi.

“This is an additional block of classrooms, already, I have constructed a block of three classrooms in the area, an additional block of three classrooms for Junior Secondary School, Wucicciri, this is also in addition to the three I constructed earlier.

“Also, there is an additional block of three classrooms, office accommodation and toilets at proposed Junior Secondary School Kufena; this is also in addition to the block of four classrooms I constructed there,” he said.

Tajuddeen said two Islamiyya schools were constructed at Kaura ward while another one was cited at Gyallesu ward to boost acquisition of Islamic knowledge.

“Sometimes back, Gov. Nasiru el-Rufai was here in Zaria to inaugurate five projects. When you put all these projects together, my constituency has benefited from projects worth over N300 million,” he said.

The lawmaker appealed to the people of the area to come out en masse to vote for APC in the forthcoming elections at all levels to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

He advised the entire people of the state to tolerate, accommodate and embrace one another to sustain the prevailing peace.

“Peace is critical to success of any administration and of course paramount to sustainable democracy, hence the need for us all to always preach and project peace,” he added.
