Liverpool Star Diogo Jota Dies in Car Accident

Portugal and Liverpool forward, Diogo Jota has died in a car accident in Spain, two weeks after getting married.

Local reports in Spain indicated that the 28-year-old footballer’s car crashed near Zamora, in northwestern Spain.

His brother, Andre, was also killed in the auto crash that occurred early Thursday morning.

Jota joined Liverpool from Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2020 and was a member of the 2024-2025 Premier League title winning squad.
