The Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District and the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the off-cycle election in Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has saluted Bola Tinubu on his first anniversary as President of Nigeria.

Okpebholo, popularly known as Akpakomiza, conveyed his good wishes in a statement issued by his legislative aide on media and communication, Godswill Inegbe, on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the Senator emphasised the significance of this democratic milestone in our national polity and the importance of unity and support from all Nigerians.

Senator Okpebholo urged Nigerians to have faith in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration which is a transformative policy thrust aimed at repositioning Nigeria as a prime global investment destination.

According to the Senator, the Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a policy framework; it is a statement of commitment, a covenant between the Tinubu’s administration and the people of Nigeria.

He therefore highlighted the importance of fostering national unity and goodwill, emphasising that collective and concerted effort is crucial for the success of the Tinubu’s Renewed Hope administration.

Senator Okpebholo, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Public Procurement, expressed unwavering trust for a successful and transformational tenure, reinforcing his explicit confidence in President Tinubu’s capacity, character, competence and vision to transform Nigeria.

The Edo APC governorship candidate wished President Tinubu a successful first tenure in office.
