A Government House source has released a secret memo from the immediate-past secretary to the state government, Osarodion Ogie to Governor Godwin Obaseki on the removal of the Oba of Benin as Chairman of Edo State Traditional Rulers and Chiefs Council.
From the memo, dated August 7, 2024, Esama of Benin would be the new Vice Chairman designate.
